This charming eatery captures the essence of traditional Indonesian cuisine, inviting guests to experience a laid-back dining atmosphere by the water. However, my recent visit highlighted some areas for improvement.
The grilled ikan gurami left much to be desired – lacking freshness and flavor, with a few serving issues.
Despite the potential of the ayam kering, it tasted stale, hinting that attention to ingredient quality is needed.
The nasi was served cold, which detracted from the overall experience, although the accompanying sambal and drinks offered a refreshing contrast.
While the atmosphere is delightful, addressing the quality and freshness of the dishes would elevate Warung Lesehan Apung Sukabumi into a true culinary gem.
